Summer is here. The hot and humid weather. No rain in site for days. Fires in other states and tons of rain in others what a summer this has been. Crops are damaged oh what to do what to do.
Dogs, dogs, dogs and more dogs. What can we say we love them dearly. One thing this summer is DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGGIE IN THE VEHICLE. I mean come on WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR BABY IN THE HOT CAR TOO?? My dogs do not go with me even if they want too especially during the day. I keep them home in the cool zone. Even though one is short hair he cannot tolerate the high temperatures. The long hair however he can handle it but I still prefer to keep my dogs comfortable at all times with fresh cold water and ice. When they are outside and its hot enough they get sprayed the cold water from the hose helps them even more. Its fun to watch them run away and try to hide behind me while they are being hosed by the other lol.
Lets face it if you live in the country, your dog is going to be outside and run around the farm. Hopefully not finding a skunk or two or even roll in some poo from a deer or cougar. If so best luck on the bath I am sure they would run just has far to get away from the water and clean soap.
